our first graduation

Six months of making, learning, experimenting and occasionally starting all over again led to this.

Our first Final Showcase, themed Creativity Without Borders, transformed the students’ work into a full exhibition-style celebration, bringing together their bags, shoes, jewellery and creative projects in one space.

Students and their families were joined by representatives from Holy Infant School and the Kurt Geiger Kindness Foundation, government ministers, and creatives from across Cameroon, including designers, photographers, stylists and creative directors.

But the students were always the stars of the day.

Alongside presenting their work, they sang, danced, performed and shared original poetry, turning the showcase into something much bigger than an exhibition. It was a celebration of everything they had made, everything they had learned and, most importantly, everything they were beginning to see was possible.

There was food, music, plenty of very proud faces and a lot to celebrate.

Not a bad way to finish Year One.
