the creative journey.

A yearly hands-on programme inspiring creativity, confidence, and craft.

how it works

The Creative Corner runs alongside the school term, giving students a practical introduction to fashion craftsmanship and creative enterprise. Our curriculum is designed to nurture curiosity, develop creative skill, and celebrate the craft traditions of Cameroon. Each module introduces a new area of making, guided by local artisans and supported by materials from the Kurt Geiger Kindness Foundation.

Each Saturday, students take part in hands-on sessions, with lunch provided to support comfort, accessibility, and community. The programme blends creativity with skill-building, encouraging young people to experiment, problem-solve, explore cultural influences, and gain confidence through making. Juliette oversees each stage of the journey, supporting the local teaching team of artisans and teaching assistants through a combination of in-person visits and virtual mentoring to guide the process and champion student growth.
